In the morning visit Leh Bazaar and surrounding.
In the afternoon tea with a traditional Ladakhi family house. Overnight

Full
day excursion. Visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar, Leh Palace and Tsemo Gonpa.
Return back to hotel for overnight stay. |

Drive 4 to 5 hours, enroute visit Shey Palace,
Thiksay and Chemrey Gonpa.Over night in Camp. (3950 Metres) |

Drive 5 to 6 hours, crossing the 2nd highest
motorable pass Changla (5320 Metres). After tea, visit Pangong Lake, one
of the largest and most beautiful natural brakish lakes in the country.
Part of this lake extends to China. Overnight stay at Camp (3950
Metres). |

Drive for 6 hours. Enroute visit Hemis and Matho
Monasteries that are famous for the festival of the blindfolded
acrobatic oracle monks. Overnight stay at Camp (3510 Metres).

Drive
for 4 hours along the Indus river. Enroute visit Stok Palace Museum,
Spituk and Alchi Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp (3050 Metres). |

Drive 6 hours via Sanjak and Chigtan valley,
crossing Namika la Pass (3720 Metres). Enter Mulbekh and stop by the
roadside to see a huge imposing rock carving of future Buddha. Overnight
stay at Hotel (2704 m). |

Drive 3 to 4 hours through the Suru valley and the
villages of Sankoo and Panikhar. From Sankoo drive towards Thasgam to
see the Meitreya sculpture in the Suru valley. On the way to Parkachik
get the stunning view of Kun peaks. Overnight stay at Camp (3700 m).

Drive 6 for 7 hours from the camp. A short hike
atop the saddle one can have a panoramic view of the Twin Peaks. Enroute
visit Rangdum Gonpa perched on a hill, which was founded in the 18th
century by Lobzang Yeshe Takpa during the reign of King Tsewang Namgyal
Of Ladakh. While crossing Penzila pass (4400 Metres) one can have a
magnificent view of majestic Drang-drung Glacier. From here onwards you
enter into the valley of Zanskar. Overnight stay at Camp (3505 m).

In the morning, visit Bardan Gonpa and in the
evening Sani Gonpa. The unusual thing about Bardan Gonpa is that it is
not built on a hill or mountain but on flat ground is also famous for
the Kanika Chorten. Sani Gonpa is the oldest Monastery in Zanskar
region. Overnight stay Camp. |

After breakfast visit Karsha Gonpa, the largest
and most important Monastery in Zanskar, Stongdey the 2nd largest
monastic establishment of Zanskar and Zangla, the rebuilt castle of the
one time kings of Zanskar. Overnight stay at Camp. |
Visit
Zongkhul Gonpa, the famous Monastery founded by Naropa and built
directly on a rock wall. Its roof terrace offers magnificent views of
the beautiful surrounding. Drive onwards to Gulmatang and give your eyes
a feast with breathtaking scenery in this practically uninhabited
valley. Overnight stay at Camp (3600 Metres). |

Drive for 4 hours. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Suru
Valley during the excursion. Overnight stay at Hotel (2704 m).

6 to 7 hours drive via Lamayuru, enroute visit an
Nunnery (Changchub Chosling) at Mulbekh. Overnight stay at Hotel. Note:- From Kargil optional drive to Srinagar then Flight to Delhi. |
