Arrival at Leh (3500 m) and then transfer to Hotel
Pax. Check-in and complete formality by filling up forms with passport
details to obtain inner line permit, full day rest for acclimatization.

 Jeep
Safari Begins here with drive for about 6 hours visiting spituk and
Likir Monasteries. The Safari continues along the Indus river. From
Khalatse route reach village Domkhar Burma,Overnight stay at Camp.

Drive for 4 to 5 hours via Skurbuchan village and
visit the monastery of Kargudpa Sect. After the visit of this pretty
village drive continues towards Dardes valley, the place inhibited by
ancient Aryan Tribe in the Indus valley. Thier culture, unique costumes
and tradition are attractive and at the same time mysterious. Overnight
stay at Camp. |

Leave Dard Valley Drive 6 to 7 hours,crossing
Sanjak bridge enter Chigtan, through the villages of Hagnis and
Khangral. Reach the Srinagar- Kargil highway and enroute visit the
imposing huge Meitriya the future Buddha image carved out of a huge rock
at Mulbeck and the Changchub Chosling Nunnery. Overnight stay at Camp.

Drive back 6 to 7 Kms visiting the most mysterious
Lamayuru Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp (3200 m). |

 Drive
back for 6 to 7 hours along the Indus. At Nimmu cross bridge on right
joining Zanskar river, drive continues along the Zanskar river.

Drive about 4 to 5 hours along Zanskar river,
enroute visit the Phyang Monastery. Overnight stay at Hotel. |

After breakfast leave Leh, drive for 6 to 7 hours
crossing the world's highest motorable pass Khardongla (5603 Mts/18380
ft). Enter the beautiful valley famous for the ancient Caravan route to
Central Asia and to places like Kashgar and Yarkand. In the evening
visit Hundar village. Overnight stay at Camp (3017 Mts). |

 Visit
the nearby villages along the Shyok and Nubra rivers. Visit the famous
Monasteries of Deskit and Samstanling 500 year old. The double hump
Becterium Camel can be seen along in the sand dunes. Overnight stay at
Camp. |

Drive back towards Leh for about 5 hours.
Overnight camp at Sabu near spring. Local people take water treatment
for curing number of diseases under the supervision of the Amchi (local
Doctor) at this spring. Also discover rare medicinal plants of the
region. Overnight stay at Camp. |

|
Drive about 5 hours enroute visit the famous Shey,
Thiksay and Chemrey Monasteries. After tea at the camp site visit the
cave at Dagthog. Overnight stay at Camp. |
|
|
Drive for about 6 hours through the villages of
Shara ,Upshi, Himiya along the Indus enroute visit the Hemis Monastery.
Overnight stay at Camp (3225 Mts). |

Drive for 5 to 6 hours, reach Tsomo Ri-Ri lake via
Mahe bridge in the nomadic land of Rupsho, at an altitude of 4000 Mts.
The region has many beautiful lakes especially the Tsomo Ri-Ri lake. The
place has been home for flocks of resident and migratory bird. The
magnificent view of Korzok village near the lake is quite enchanting.

 Drive
for about 5 to 6 hours through Sumda Puga. At Puga see the Sulphur hot
springs gushing hot water fountains. Cross Polokongkha then around Tso
Kar one can see wild horses (Kyang),Yaks and the Changpa Tribe living in
their nomadic style with sheep and Pashmina Goats. Overnight stay at
Camp (4267 Mts). |
